Hi!

Energy Medicine Healer Cat Morgan here to let you know that you can really pack a lot of stuff in a 34 ft class A motorhome!

We finally found the perfect spot right on the beach in beautiful Lo De Marcos! It is exactly what we were trying to manifest for ourselves. The unit that we are in is a one bedroom with a full kitchen. Who would think that a 34 foot RV would have more room? It really does have a lot of storage. I will be packing it a lot differently when we load up again. We were thinking about going on down the to Maya Riviera in the winter. We shall see what unfolds this summer.

I suppose as a RVer, one is always unloading and loading up again. We are always trying to find a better way to pack things together! And, for such a small place, it is really amazing how many things I have lost in the RV, thinking….what’s up with this? How hard could it be to find something? Well, it is truly amazing what you misplace, and where you finally find it. Usually, I have already just about torn the place apart looking for things, thinking, okay, I guess it just walked away by itself! And, then Owen, my lovely internet guru, will look in one place and find it…thanks Owen!

It is nice to see everything that we have brought with us. We knew what we had with us, and we have found out that we probably over-packed a bit, but now that we can see what we have, especially all of the food products, and it will be so much easier to use it up now.

So, this last week has been moving week, and I for one am happy that it is done!

We have summerized the RV by spraying the bottom with oil, so the sea air doesn’t rust it away, putting a long tarp over the entire length so the summer rains can drain right off, and tow more tarps, one on each end, adding more protection. We are also putting in these natural moisture control cups. They have a type of clay litter that absorbes moisture really well, and drips the water out the bottom into a cup. This helps with the prevention of mold growing, which I hear grows on everything if you are not careful. Just about all of the prevention right on the water is all about rust and mold.

Happy summer here we come! Here is another lovely sunset, ending the day with beautiful color and blessings.

Cat Morgan, Energy Medicine Healer here, with my babe Internet Guru Owen Walcher living our dreams in Lo De Marcos, Nayurit Mexico.

Its been a very interesting journey so far here in Mexico! Due to the increase of the vibration of the planet, everything that we have focused on creating is coming in quickly, and with ease and grace.

We had been looking for a home that we could get into, and out of the R.V. and La Parota RV Park for the summer season. It gets humid, and the rainy season starts in July. So, living in the R.V. is not a really good idea. We have looked at many rentals in Lo De Marcos, as well as San Pancho, La Pentia as well as Sayulita. We had also put our intentions out there that we were open to house sit. There are many home owners here that leave for the summer, and go back to Canada or the U.S., and come back to their homes here in November and December for the winter season.

We found a couple of possibilities, but we had really set our intentions to find something affordable right on the beach. We almost rented a beautiful three bedroom home with 4 palapas and everything that you could want all done in Mexican tiles and beautiful furniture. But, it just was not on the beach! It was our second choice.

We ended up finding a lovely one bedroom villa right on the beach, and that the owners wanted to do some trade with us. The long story short is that we are going to manage their property while they are gone and live there until mid October. I am sooo excited!

The place is called Villas del Rey, and is owned by a very lovely couple named Lonnie and Stacie Ford from Washington State.

The Villas del Rey property has a house with 5 bedrooms, all with their own baths and balconies. They also have 2 large studios and 1 small studio, and a one bedroom, which is what we are in. The units are very spacious. They also have extremely low rates, which is quite amazing. I have stayed on many properties over the years, and Villas del Rey is very nice.

The entire place is filled with paintings and sculptures that were made mostly by Lonnie, and a few by Stacie, which gives their place a special feeling.I feel very blessed indeed! And, it is exactly what we were hoping to create. How fun is that?!

And with that, we have been moving out of the RV into a one bedroom. It has really been amazing at how much storage the RV has! OMG!

Its important to get everything out and what we are not using, get wrapped up so the mold doesn’t get to it. We will button up the RV for the summer months.

On another note:
We took a full moon walk this evening, the tide was very high, spilling out onto some of the streets, smoothing out the entire beach. It was absolutely beautiful. It will be interesting to see what it’s like in the morning.

Surf's Up in Lo De Marcos

Hi everyone! Energy Medicine Healer Cat Morgan here, living in Lo De Marcos, Nayarit Mexico, with my babe Internet Guru Owen Walcher.

And, what a Easter holiday it was on the Nayarit Riveria, along with a week of fiesta, and then the mexican memorial weekend! Easter here is called Samanta Santa, and it is a huge holiday for the mexican peoples. The beaches were packed with families and folks selling their wares and lots of delicious food and fruit drinks. We bought a new umbrella and a hand made woven mat for the beach. The kids were playing in the ocean, and you could hear all of the little girls screaming as the waves came in. I guess all little girls scream in all countries! It was pretty crazy until all hours of the evening, and into the wee hours of the morning. Earplugs are a beautiful thing! It was a lot of fun, and I wished I knew how to speak spanish a lot better.

However, now that the holidays are over, the beaches are empty, save for about 10 people…..and the surf is really up!! The surfers are having a blast, and I can’t wait to take some lessons. I have been scouting it out in a couple of different places, and checking out prices on surf boards…which are about as pricey as new snowboards! There are a few good beaches to surf at around here, one, being here in Lo De Marcos, and one in Sayulita, and another in San Francisco…or also know as San Pancho.

So, for the hotter summer months, which, is also the rainy season, we are quite content having the beach to ourselves!

We have been meeting some new friends, American and Canadian. Its nice to have new friends that speak english. Not to negate our new hispanic friends, and in Sayulita and San Pancho, just about everyone speaks english!

We have been looking for a home to rent, or perhaps do some house sitting in the area to get out of the R.V. for awhile. We do love staying at La Parota R.V. Park, but a home will be good for a bit.

Things are looking up, and I am really loving the heart felt energies of Mexsico. It has been taking me a bit to ground here, however!

We do love it here on the Nayarit Riveria. I think that we shall call it home for now!

Hi Everyone!

Well, its another awesome day here at Lo De Marcos, Nayarit, Mexico.

For the next two weeks, there is a holiday here in Mexico called Samana Santa. It is a national holiday here in Mexico, and everyone gets 4 days off this next week. All of the natives come to the beaches and celebrate until Easter.

There are palappas built all over the beaches, selling really tasty food ….tacos, grilling entire chicken, beef, Oysters on the 1/2 shell, all different kinds of fruit and candy. Lets not forget the cervecas and margaritas. There are also hot dog carts. They love hot dog here. If you were to ask for sausage and eggs, you would get hot dogs! (I also experienced that in Thailand.)

We finally have some company at the La Parota RV Park, where we are staying. The entire town will be packed for the next two weeks with folks coming to camp. I am looking forward to this very authentic cultural experience.

I would like to do a shout-out to the Sunlight Ski Patrol! Hope that you guys had a great spring season and have fun at the banquet! Kudos to all of the folks winning awards this year. Lo De Marcos is a surf town, so I’m planning on learning to surf…one board to another! If anyone wants to visit, just let us know! There are lots of different opportunities and options. Also, have a fun spring run-off…..I’m really going to be missing that river and my raft Grace, that’s for sure!

We finally went out and got ourselves a hammock. Its a two-person hammock, and is super for that afternoon siesta.

I have been doing some energy work and massage for some rental trade. We will need to get our FM2′s so we can work legally.

It was good to do some energetic healing! Listening to the waves was the best music ever!

Owen and I take a walk down to the end of the cove and back at sunset just about every day. There is always something new to discover, it seems. Here is a little palappa style shade hut. It wasn’t there the day before…..

Its nice to see the sun going down into the ocean, knowing that it will be another beautiful day in paradise tomorrow

It is really sweet here in Lo De Marcos. It looks like we are going to be staying here for a couple of months. My life has changed in so many ways. And, in some ways it is still the same. I am still working, doing some distance energy healing and helping Owen when I can with some computer work.

It’s easy to forget what day it is! I sleep until whenever…I usually like to get up by 9:00..but there is no pressure there. My morning coffee is a wonderful thing listening to the ocean waves, as I come back on to the planet. Its a whole new way of thinking here in Mexico, and of course a new language to learn. Every Spanish word means only one thing. This is a good thing. And all of the vowels have only one sound. It’s fun to go into town and do the shopping and meeting the shop owners. Everyone is very friendly from their hearts. They go out of their way to help you, even if it’s not in their interest. It is also a great way for me to practice my Spanish.

No one here is in a hurry. A Mexican minute could mean a good 15 minutes or more!

Everyone like to siesta between 2 and 4 pm….Its really crazy, because come around 3:30 I have got to have a nap! I think that this may be empathic! Everybody’s doin it! It feels great! Siesta is a wonderful thing indeed.

Everyone is getting for Samana Santa, which is the week before Easter. Palappa’s are going up all along the beach, getting ready for BBQing tacos, carne and pez, adababo and pollo. yummo!

Here at La Paroda, they will have the traditional tacos, along with burgers and dogs. (hot dogs that is!) there are a lot of dogs on the beach, but you would not want to eat them…they look old and tough. But so do the cows! And, the meat is tough. We have cut down on the beef that’s for sure! The cows are skinny, and it looks like they are eating dirt. Seriously, I am not sure how they are surviving.

One of the worker guys caught a good size iguana yesterday. They let me hold it. I was scared that it would try to bite me! Owen got a good video of it. It was an amazing green on its belly.

Today, was another interesting day…got some work done, and went out to the beach to work out, and lay out! These young girls and one young boy (that was on the horses) came up with three horses that they were training to swim in the surf. I watched for a while. They asked me if I wanted to give it a try. Well, hell yes! OMG! I energetically connected with the mares heart first. She was sweet, and very well fed and taken care of. She felt happy. I managed to let them know I knew how to ride, and up I went.

You get the horse out in the waves…and wait until you can get out there a ways. Then a big one comes in, you turn the horse around at the last second, and you swim the horse in on the wave! Man, it was so much fun! My legs were so tired from trying to hold on…and finally I fell off…and the horse went in without me. Apparently they thought this was quite the hoot! One of the girls was lying on the sand laughing like crazy! All of them were….in fact, the fishermen had gathered around and were laughing too. I decided that this was a good thing, so I laughed with them. They did not want anything for letting me ride either. That was nice. What a blast!:) Owen was taking a nap at the time, but I did manage to get a video of the boy riding in the ocean..will try to get that in later. Another fun day at home in Lo De Marcos.

So, we arrive in Lo De Marcos, and back into the RV park space just as the darkness comes upon us. WHEW! We made it!

I felt a very overwhelming sense of gratitude and also a feeling that we were in the right town. Even though we had so much stress that day, I knew in my heart and every cell in my being that this was a good place for us. It left me feeling quite elated!

We had a hot shower and a good nights sleep. The RV park, Cruz Maria was packed except for a couple of spaces. We woke to the sounds of dogs barking and folks talking over their coffee…way too noisy for our likings!! And, we could not see the ocean.

So, we got in the jeep and decided to scout out the area. Right next door to Cruz Maria is La Parota RV Park, which was completely empty! So, we went to the gate and spoke with Maria Gonzales, who happens to be the wife of Juan Gonzalaes. They are the park owners.

She does not speak English, but she was able to let us know Juan would be back that afternoon, and we could come in and park, and pay him later. All of that with our small amount of Spanish, and her small understanding of English. Muy bueno!

We get Bertha over to La Parota, and it is very nice indeed. It is the newest park here, which means everything is up to code . The bathrooms are beautiful, with lots of lovely hot water. They have a new washer and dryer, and plenty of space to hang the laundry to dry. We parked in the best spot, down in front with a lovely ocean view and close to the beach. When I mean close, I mean about 75 feet.

Juan Martinez Sr. came home in the afternoon. He is truly one of the most heart centered people that I have ever met! A very amazing man indeed. He told me that he as owned this property for 35 years, when there were no paved roads, and hardly anyone lived here.

Lo De Marcos is still very much a village, and has not been taken over with tourism ….yet. We really like it here.

We are approaching Easter weekend. They call it the Semana Santa, which is actually the week leading up to Easter. All of the beaches and places to stay will be packed with the mexican peoples. Then, its summer, which is the off season.

We have decided to stay here for a couple of months, so I will have much more for you on this lovely town, as we meet the locals and discover Lo De Marcos.

We are staying in a lovely fishing village called Lo De Marcos, about 45 kilometers north of Puerto Vallarta. Owen went outside and shot this from the sea wall this morning. He could hear the fishing boats revving their engines, and wondered what it was. turns out they were coming back in after setting their lines for the day (they woke us up at 5 AM going out)

When you come visit us, you will get to experience his kinds of stuff first hand!

Travel days seem to have a bit more tension energy around them. There is a lot to pay attention to, and especially because the maps do not have all of the roads on them…and the GPS is basically useless to use when you get turned around, telling you to turn up one way roads etc. And, so, we got turned around a couple of times, of course! The smaller towns are packed and very tight roads. Thank goodness that “I’m an excellent driver” ! (even though Owen had to look behind us on the right side when changing lanes!!)

We actually had to take the jeep off once to get out of the small streets! I ended up talking to a young guy on a bicycle that ended up riding his bike in front of us to show us the way out! This is how nice everyone is! And, then he spoke to an older guy, and he gave us better directions, and faster and better route. He did not want anything from us…but I gave him a pepsi, which he very much liked, and Owen gave him 50 pesos, which I am sure he was happy about, being out of work. He said that work was hard to find right now.

Okay, so we got turned around again! This time, not so bad. The sun was beginning to set, and we needed to get to where we were going. No driving at night in Mexico. The roads have too many large potholes, and crazy drivers indeed! And, there are lots of horses, cows, and lord knows what else wandering around and into the street!

However, I have a lot of perseverance, and I hang onto the steering wheel and drive us right to Lo De Marcos, backing the RV into its spot just as it turns completely dark.

We hit the road and actually got out of Mazatlan on schedule!

The roads are narrow with lots of traffic going through town, and the directions can get crazy. Trying to follow the GPS is a joke, because most of the roads aren’t on it! And, so, as I am looking around where to go, I got a bit close and hit a vendors truck and tore off the right mirror on the RV!! OMG!! So, I pulled over,Owen was (needless to say) a bit freaked out…so Owen jumped out and the guy was walking to him with the mirror…no damage to his property thank goodness! He was very kind, and would not accept any money, saying nothing was wrong! So, I guess we have a bit more driving room on that side for a while . I suppose that if this is the worst that happens, we are doing great!

We had no problems finding Onac RV Park. When we arrived, there were only 3 other RV’s and one camper. And when I say right on the beach, I mean right on the beach! Exactly what we have been dreaming of. (pic coming soon)

The first folks we met were Bob and Dot. They had lived in their 32 foot trailer for 30 years and loving every year of it! They had lots of information for us! There were also another nice couple, Larry and Gene. Larry had his own network with him for internet connection…via satellite….he had 3 or 4 of them! Very nice folks indeed!

It was great! Playing Frisbee on the beach almost every morning was fun and good exercise in the sand. I had not played for a long time, and it took me a few days to get good at it again. Owen did much better, throwing with either hand.

We went for walks on endless stretches of vacant beach…well, there were a bunch of crabs if they count! We had just gotten some boogie boards…went out a couple of times…the water was still a bit cool.

It seems that every laundry room is different. There was only one washer and one dryer here. I never used the dryer, but the one washer worked great! You have to do your laundry early, or it won;t dry on the line because of the humidity! But there is plenty of breeze!!!

Another thing that I like to do is watch the sun setting with a brewskie…….signaling the end of another beautiful day in paradise! Owen has been trying to catch the green flash that can occur just as the last of the sun goes away on video. That would be awesome!

The small town of Tiacapan was fun and we practiced speaking our spanish a bit. It seems that wherever we go, our needs are met. Everyone is very friendly and heart centered.

We mostly ate cooked chicken off the grill, that folks set up outside their homes, and beef cooked the same way. The meals come with homemade tortillas, bean soup, lettuce and tomato and sometimes a pasta salad, depending where you go. Many meals for about 7 american dollars. Shopping is fun! Lots of tacos! There were also oysters on the half shell fresh daily. So Awesome!!

I started back to work while we were here using skype as a great tool for some long distance healing work. Skype worked really well, and I had some fantastic sessions with a few clients. It felt really good to be back to work! It gave me a sense of my self again.

The showers had great water pressure and they were hot as can be, and the pool was lovely as well. With that, we chose to stay for 2 weeks.

The day before we took off, about 6 new campers and RV’ers pulled in. A couple (Paul and Terry) that we met write an online RV forum, which was great!! Lots of info and you can chat with the other RV’ers. We ended up meeting a fun couple that parked right next to us. Jerry and Florence from Canada. They were headed south as well. We ended up meeting up with them at the next trailer park, which was in Lo De Marcos.
